LAUREL, Miss. — The largest single-workplace immigration raid in U.S. history has caused panic among Hispanic families in this small southern Mississippi town, where federal agents rounded up nearly 600 plant workers suspected of being in the country illegally.One worker caught in Monday's sweep at the Howard Industries transformer plant said fellow workers applauded as immigrants were taken into custody.

It's nice to see ICE in action and enforcing our immigration laws, if we need labor it should be by a visa system that prevents employees from bringing their dependents for us to support. If they have to go home every 10 or 11 months to be able to return it would help. Jail and fine employers that doesn't use E-Verify to keep a legal workforce.
