BREAKING: Drilling Ban to Expire - Democrats Lose Key Battle
House Democrats have formally admitted defeat today and are set to allow the temporary ban on off-shore drilling to expire at the end of this month. After fighting it literally for decades, House Democrats have finally caved to GOP pressure (and the will of the public) and will allow the ban to be lifted. Today, folks, is a victory for Americans and for Republicans throughout the Country. For the last few months, Republican candidates have hammered their Democratic opponents for their unwillingness to allow drilling despite its' overwhelming popularity among the public. Now, the days of Democratic drilling obstructionism look to be behind us for good. Despite a hail-ditch sham drilling bill last week from Nancy Pelosi and her puppets - that means you Dennis Moore and Nancy Boyda - Republican pressure on the subject appears to have prevailed.
