It would appear our tactics are not going to have the slightest affect on Congressmen Emanuel Cleaver, 5th District of Missouri & Dennis Moore, of the 3rd District of Kansas. ¶
Our adjoining districts Congressman in the Kansas City area were on Public Radio Broadcastings KCUR 89.3 FM Up to Date with Steve Kraske of the Kansas City Star news paper. ¶
Of the eight people that was able to get through to Kraske and the Congressmen, only one man Richard Fry of the November Patriots asked a question that did not sound scripted for this (in my opinion) semi-infomercial. The answer was impressive in as much the Congressmen were able to give the page number that allegedly contained the answer. ¶
Billy Blogger (me) has not as yet confirmed the information on the given page #170 of HR 3200: ‘‘America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009” ¶ Saturday morning August 22nd 2009 in front of Dennis Moore’s office, Overland Park Kansas, I will be there with a new sign telling Moore that I will donate as much additional money as I can to his opponent and do what ever asked in order to defeat him next year unless he votes NO on 3200 or what ever comes on of congress.

The question I asked was not answered.
This is a very good training exercise in political deception.
The question I asked related to why the progressive wanted to lie and misrepresent the facts upon which they claim show the need for health care reform (government takeover). One example I gave was the often cited “fact” that “47 million ‘Americans’ “don’t have health insurance.
The Census Bureau report this info comes from looks at the number of “people” in the U.S. without health care insurance. But the 47 million without insurance included 8-10 million who were foreign nationals or about 1 in five of the uninsured “people” (20%)
The “answer” Moore and or Cleaver apparently gave was that bill HR 3200: ‘‘America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009” on page 170 provides that “illegals” could not get health care under this bill. It provides:
‘‘(2) NONRESIDENT ALIENS.—Subsection (a)
2 shall not apply to any individual who is a non
3 resident alien.
My question was why they told the American public that there were “47 million Americans” without health care because such is factually untrue. My question was not whether “illegals” were going to be provided insurance under this plan.
The other health care deception they use is to mix apples and oranges. They want you to believe the uninsured are a homogeneous lot. They are not by a long shot. The Census report indicates there were:
37 million Americans (the real kind not the “undocumented Americans” of which Harry Reid once spoke.) without insurance,
Over 16% of the uninsured make $50,000 to 74,999 per year and,
Another 16% + make 75,000 or more.
That is another 15 million who have the resources but simply don’t buy insurance. This brings the total of Americans without insurance down to 22 million.
There is a significant t percent of young people who choose not to have insurance because they are healthy and would rather spend the money on something else. Some of the uninsured are “frictionally” uninsured which means they have just been taken off their parents’ plans because of age or losing their student status, are between jobs etc. There are also a significant amount of people who are eligible for government programs but have not signed up for them.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Census there were only 8-10 million Americans who were chronically without health insurance, including without government sponsored insurance i.e. Medicaid. So only 21% of the “47 million “Americans’ “that the Obama progressives are telling you about really need a fix. That’s about 2.8% of the total population based on 350 million citizens. That is hardly a crisis.
Why would they answer a different question than that asked? Because they wanted to keep their dirty little secret (the truth) from you and they could also inject a quasi race card into the mix to keep those who follow the political correctness rules, quite. We know, according to Senator Graham
and some of the open borders types that anyone who is against illegal immigration is really against immigration and that only is because we are all racist. How low can you go?
Be truthful now, how many of you were tricked by the deceptive change in the question????? Bill??????

Yep! Billy missed it! No excuse, I just flat heard what I thought was the answer but I’ve replayed that portion of the love fest and sure enough the conjoined Congressmen did a Missouri side step and slid around the (actual) question.
