Campaign donations call into question Rep. Moore’s scrutiny of banks taking bailouts
U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore, the Kansas Democrat, was in his seat Wednesday when the House Financial Services Committee grilled the chief executives of eight banks taking government bailout money.
But during the last election, Moore accepted $52,500 in campaign contributions from people and political action groups associated with those same banks — good enough for 10th place among all committee members.
“What these donations call into question is, how close is (Moore’s) scrutiny going to be,” said Massie Ritsch of the Center for Responsive Politics, which found the contributions in campaign reports.
The Financial Services Committee is one of the biggest in Congress. Its members accepted $1.8 million from the eight banks, the center found.

What did you expect the party of corruption and Moore in my opinion is nothing more. With the position he held he did nothing to warn American about the pending disaster he just soaked in the money.
