Iowa town become flash point in immigration debate

The 50-year-old Postville resident said he never expected this sleepy community of about 2,200 to become a flashpoint in the debate over immigration. As a three-hour protest concluded just blocks from his house, he spoke regretfully about what the town had become.

Escondido California tries to rid itself of undocumented immigrants

From the Los Angeles Times

Two immigrants, one from Mexico and the other from Guatemala, sit on a curb in Escondido, hoping for a job offer. The city has posted "No Stopping" signs in most of the popular day labor hangouts.

This appears to be an important story; please take time to read and remember, this can be done in your city, if someone starts the ball rolling.

Immigration raids often spare employers

Are we the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps trying to close the wrong border?

Fences, border patrol officers and Minutemen with binoculars and radios do not seem to be doing the trick. Should we be trying to close the border right here at home which the illegal alien crosses, called employment?

Use the link above and see what I'm crying about and then come back here and tell us what your feelings are about the illegal immigrant, business owners or anything else. Use the comments, section and I promises to leave what ever you say up for everyone to read.
