Returning in November

November 2nd 2010 in my opinion is one of the top three most important elections in our history.
The 1854 passage of “The Kansas-Nebraska” act began a debate (with violence) that lead to the election of Abraham Lincoln with less then 40% of the popular vote. You know the rest, a ‘war for states rights’.
Another election that ranks in the top three is the one held in November of 2008 which caused the ascension in January 2009 of Barack Hussein Obama. At this point the issues of his birth or religious preference matter little. We cannot allow ourselves to split like the 1860 Democrats which in part, got the other Illinois one term politician elected.
You may not have supported all the Republican candidates elected earlier this month but supporting ‘your’ party’s choice is essential. Stopping Obama’s maniacal race to Socialism is crucial to the future of the United States.
Having said that, it is my intention to take a break from this blog until after the election to devote as much time as I can getting the people elected that will help stop the spending, of this Liberal House, Senate and President. Remember these three names, Obama, Sotomayor & Elena Kagan. If you voted for him please think about what your vote help cause.

Greeting called 'most unbecoming for president of the United States'

President Obama greeted the king of Saudi Arabia with a full bow from the waist yesterday, a move one commentator described as a violation of protocol and not worthy of the office he holds.

There's only a few things this bowing man could be doing beside bowing.  #1, Picking up his Muslim prayer
beads #2, Kissing the kings ring  #3, Never mind!
These photos were taken from a video (below) but don't bother opening it for viewing, it's been taken down.

84 Year Old Judge issues Injunction halting Kansas petitions law residency rule

Tucked away on page A-16 of the Kansas City Star Saturday morning was a story by The Associated Press describing how a Kansas District Judge with the advice of the (appointed) Secretary of State Chris Biggs to issue an injunction which allows out of state paid petitioners to gather signatures in Kansas

A federal judge struck down as unconstitutional on Friday a part of a Kansas law that prohibits nonresidents from circulating petitions within the state.

U.S. District Judge Sam Crow ruled that the law violates the First Amendment and issued a permanent injunction prohibiting Secretary of State Chris Biggs from enforcing it.

The order comes after a lawsuit filed in April by the Constitution Party of Kansas. Also named as plaintiffs are Curt Engelbrecht, a Wichita party member, and Mark Pickens, an Arizona man who works as a paid political petition circulator.
The Kansas attorney general's office had joined with the plaintiffs in asking that the statute be ruled unconstitutional - something Daniel Treuden, a Milwaukee attorney who represents the Constitution Party, called "the responsible thing to do.

Why I support the CP. If Not the Constitution Party – Then Who?
By Harold Thompson
The Constitution Party believes in God, the sovereignty of our states, the principles of liberty and freedom and small Federal government. We believe in personal responsibility, low taxes, local control of our schools and local control of our governments. We do not need or want the folks in Washington, D.C. telling us how to live, what to eat, how to spend our money and what to buy with our money. Government is by, for and of the people. We, the people, need to start living up to our responsibilities.

By a voice vote the Senate approved $600 milliion for alleged border security

Below is information about the southern border fence. Before your collective eyes roll up (too far) the Senate on a voice vote yesterday authorized 600 million more, not for ‘The Fence’ but agents and hardware. GIVE ME A BREAK! With that 600 mil, 460 more miles of double layer fence can be built. ‘If you voted for Obama, you voted for this stupidity.

Senate approves $600 million for border security
By JIM ABRAMS
Associated Press Writer
The Senate agreed Thursday to add $600 million to the effort to stop the flow of illegal immigrants across the U.S. Mexican border.
Alex Brandon
The money would be used for such purposes as adding 1,500 new enforcement agents and deploying unmanned aerial drones to improve border surveillance.
The voice vote to pass the emergency spending came in the final hours before the Senate leaves for its monthlong summer break. Its sponsor, Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer of New York, said it would boost border spending 10 percent above 2010 levels.  Read More

According to staff at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), only 34.3 miles double-layer fencing has been completed along the Southern border. Most of that fencing, 13.5 miles, is in Texas, while 11.8 miles are in California and 9.1 miles of double-layer fencing are up in Arizona.  Read more from Jim Demint

While the San Diego fence, combined with an increase in agents and other resources in the USBP’s San Diego sector, has proven effective in reducing the number of apprehensions made in that sector, there is considerable evidence that the flow of illegal immigration has adapted to this enforcement posture and has shifted to the more remote areas of the Arizona desert.
the Army Corp of Engineers estimates that the double layer Sandia type fence like what was installed in San Diego would cost about $1.3 million per mile.  (Read More)

KC Star Columnist Admits The Fence Works!

Our dear MARY SANCHEZ of The Kansas City Star wrote "Arizona’s immigration issues developed largely after crackdowns near San Diego pushed border crossings further east"

San Diego has the fence extending into the Pacific Ocean.  Thank you MARY for confirming the wisdom of our fence.

We need a better system to reform immigration

Fierce partisans on both sides of the immigration debate would do well to take a breather.

>snip< Here’s another reason we need to think carefully and come up with a comprehensive solution: Immigration policies and enforcement measures have a way of solving one problem while causing another. Arizona’s immigration issues developed largely after crackdowns near San Diego pushed border crossings further east. One result: The morgue in Tucson is full of dead migrants as the summer’s heat peaks.

A letter from Todd Tiahrt's daughter.

Dear Kansans,
The race for US Senate has led to many misconceptions and a lot of confusing TV ads and glossy fliers about my family, my father, and his campaign for Senate. I want to address a few of these.
(BillyBlogger picked the below paragraph out of Jessica Tiahrt's open letter because you've heard of this craziness from our Liberal out-patients in the US Congress but I'll bet you don't know how it was stopped.)
6. My dad will fight for Kansas farmers. He learned Ag issues on the seat of a tractor, not from serving on an Agriculture Committee. When the EPA wanted to tax livestock emissions (you know, cow gas!), the Agriculture Committee and Jerry Moran didn't stop it. When my dad saw what this tax would do to Kansas farmers, he sponsored legislation to withdraw the EPA's funding to write the regulations and he stopped the tax dead in its tracks. This bill only extends for one year. If Kansas doesn't send Todd Tiahrt to the Senate, I don't know who will lead this charge next year.

Videos From Arizona Protests, Yesterday

Governor Brewer called the judge’s decision halting the immigration law, “a bump in the road”. Illegals and their allies took to the streets in Phoenix, well aware that the fight is not over:
