Link to: The Kansas City Kansan

"The name Richard Fatherley might not mean anything to you. But it’s almost certain that Fatherley’s golden voice is etched somewhere in your memory."

Kansas City Kansan
"Now retired from radio, Fatherley still operates a successful narration business called AdVoice LLC. Fatherley is the booming voice behind numerous local and national ad campaigns, including John Deere, Jiffy Lube and Baskin-Robbins on the national level, plus local spots for Providence Medical Center, Suburban Lawn & Garden, Catholic Charities, and just about every college and university in the Kansas City area. One of his most prominent gigs is as “The Voice of Kansas University” – ads narrated by Fatherley can be heard frequently during KU football and basketball radio broadcasts."

Richard Ward Fatherley is one of us! A volunteer for the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps not only is Fatherley a volunteer but is the Heart of America Chapter’s media advisor. Almost everything published; (except this) Fatherley has had a hand in. All electronic media produced for the radio, internet or general consumption Dick Fatherly wrote and voiced. His now famous Minuteman/American Legion spots are still being heard through out the nation. Richard Ward Fatherley is dedicated to the mission of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps: “To see the borders and coastal boundaries of the United States secured against the unlawful and unauthorized entry of all individuals, contraband, and foreign military. We will employ all means of civil protest, demonstration, and political lobbying to accomplish this goal.”
Dick Fatherley is a true American Patriot and one of us
